Hello!

We're (sadly) winding down the days of summer here.  I love how the kids are so carefree during the summer & am sad to see it come to an end.  We've already started back to school shopping as my littlest one is going to Kindergarten for the first time!!!

I thought it would be nice to put a little note in their lunch bags as a surprise for the first day of school.  And we're sharing it with you!!!

Just think of you little guy or gal opening their lunch & seeing this note...super sweet, right?

Christina + Daler - July 30, 2011

We had the pleasure of being invited to participate in the nuptials of a super sweet couple, Christina + Daler.  They were the type of customer we love...they gave us the budget + a few guidelines + let us do the rest!  We had so much fun creating a special sweets table that was suited for the happy couple...right down to the licorice...the brides favourite!

Medieval Birthday Party

This sweet design was for a beautiful little lady's 6th birthday celebration.  Girls were dressed as Princesses + the boys were dressed as Knights.  Here are a few snaps of some items we created for the day:

Happy Birthday sweet girl!  We were so honoured to be a part of your special celebration!

Black + Red + White Bridal Shower

This past Friday, we had the opportunity to design a dessert buffet for a fun bridal shower!  The brides colours for her wedding are black, red + white so we ran with this theme!  Once we found out that there was also going to be a wine tasting...our inspiration grew!

We decided on black, red + white candies displayed in wine glasses!  So cute!  We also incorporated a red sari scarf as the couple will be having a Sheikh ceremony as well as a Catholic ceremony.  It was the finishing piece that made the buffet special + meaningful for the bride!

A huge thank you to the brides friends who let us be a part of this special evening + to the bride for being so wonderful!

Father's Day Breakfast

Thanks to Rachelle for sending in this sweet picture of a custom banner for Fathers Day.  In front of the banner was a breakfast fit for a King that Dad loved!
